Getting started

Set up. Share your link. Play together.

Streamers use the desktop app. Viewers join from their browser or the Twitch extension.

Requires Windows 10 or 11 (64-bit), .NET Framework 4.8 or later, and an internet connection.

  1. Open the app. Extract the ZIP, then open ViewerControl.exe.
  2. Sign in. Open Settings and choose your platform. Your first account becomes your main profile; link your other accounts under Connected accounts.
  3. Set up Twilight Princess. You need your own compatible Twilight Princess/Dusklight installation with the Viewer Link mod. The game and Dusklight are not included in this download. Need help finding the right build?

Using another PC? Sign in with a linked account to restore your settings and plan, then choose your game path on that PC.

Some platform connections are still limited to approved testers. Check availability.

For streamers

  1. Launch your game. Choose your Dusklight game path in Viewer Link, then select Launch game.
  2. Choose your effects. Set prices and amounts in Effects, and your refill rules in Sparks.
  3. Start your session. Select Start session, wait for the game to connect, then try an effect.
  4. Invite your viewers. Copy your viewer link and share it. Follow effects on the dashboard, and pause or stop the session whenever you need.

For viewers

  1. Join your streamer. Open their viewer link or Twitch extension and sign in. Their session appears automatically.
  2. Claim your Sparks. Use Claim Sparks to get started. Your balance and countdown show when you can claim again.
  3. Send an effect. Choose an effect and amount, check the total, then send it. Follow the result in Activity.

Your session recap is available to download when ready.

Find someone to watch

Visit Live streamers, then choose Send effects or Watch stream. Streamers appear when they opt in, are live and have an active Viewer Link session.

Back to effects returns to the last streamer you opened in this tab.

Set up TikTok triggers

TikTok sign-in is currently limited to approved test accounts. Check availability first.

  1. Link your account. In Settings, choose Open TikTok account, then Log in to TikTok.
  2. Create a trigger. Open TikTok triggers. Choose a gift or event, set how many are needed, and add an effect. Name it so you can find and edit it later.
  3. Connect your LIVE. Start your game session, then choose Connect LIVE on the TikTok account page while you are live.

Counts can combine everyone’s events or track each viewer separately. Gifts and likes do not spend Sparks. Available gifts vary by stream and region.

Test an effect, then copy your viewer link from the app. If something is not working, visit Support.
